Deleted photos?

As above, just tried to put my photos in different albums for easier searching, but instead of going to the newly named album, they seem to have mostly vanished.

Any help getting them back please, much appreciated.

Do you use https://photos.google.com/ are they showing there? Sorry not familiar with Samsung phones.

Download 'file commander'. Select 'pictures' then 'internal storage'. If not deleted they'll be there somewhere.

So, when you first go in the app there are no photos showing?
Adding them to albums only virtually groups them it doesnt move the photos.
How were you actually putting them in albums?

Not all photos will be stored on his phone.

When you do get them back, use Google photos to automatically back up all your photos. It's unlimited storage for free.
