Plug extension

[chml]

Worlds most boring post ever but I need to get an extension socket for the living room, we need approximately 6 or 7 sockets coming from this so I’d want something with a surge protector etc. We also need it to be approx 3m in cable length. Amazon have loads but I don’t fancy buying a spurious one that could end up being a hazard. Any recommendations? Thanks

I’ve been using a DoubleYi tower from Amazon for the last year with a bunch of tech gadgets. It’s been fine

I'm sometimes a little suspicious of electrical goods from Amazon.

Do somewhere like Screwfix have something like what you need?

Try Wickes. I bought a 6 socket extension with surge and 2 USB sockets last week to go in my computer cupboard, They also do an 8 socket version and a few others.

Seem decent quality and I think the one I bought was about £15 or so.

Go with a name like Belkin if buying from Amazon.
