iPad Air 2 screen rubbish in the sun

I have an iPad Air 2 (no screen protector) and it’s useless reading the screen in the sun.

Often the screen isn’t bright enough, screen is hard to read, I end up looking at a reflection of myself and the battery drains sharpish.

Are there any newer iPads that are fine to read in the sun? Or can anyone recommend a screen protector to resolve this?

My tele is crap in the sun as is my laptop - as is every screen I have that emits light.

If it for reading - you need a Kindle.

It’s for reading but not books as I aready have a Kindle.
