Hey Guys - I can't get my panasonic 50TX LED TV to read/recognise several of my ext HDD's it will recognise only 1 a samsung 1.5TB drive [which is formatted in ntfs], and all my USB sticks without problem?
All the other hdd of various brands/sizes are not recognised, I've tried re-formatting them in NTFS and/or ex fat without success - Any suggestions for getting the TV to read from them??

Are they USB powered or external plug? That may be an issue as many USB powered ones draw too much power.
Also, they might just not be compatible. If I recall panasonic has a list of compatible HDD.

Other than that, sorry I can't help.

THanks for reply - none have any external power supply, they are all 2.5" External HDD's in their own cases, 3 of them are Samsung - a 500mb, a 1tb and a 1.5Tb the TV only reads from the 1.5TB ?? I'm totally baffled???

It's almost certainly power if all the memory sticks work, but only one HDD.

A cable like this that allows more power to be draw by the HDD will probably be the answer, https://www.amazon.co.uk/Delock-Y-Cable-USB-2-0-0-...

A phone charger or any USB power supply.

TV USB ports are crap for power delivery.

Exactly what I had to do with my old panasonic a few years ago.
