Can anyone recommend any earphones for up to £30 that are worth buying? Need some for work to listen to CCTV and body worn video.

Ideally noise cancelling as the office is stupidly loud!

At that price point you want sound isolating ear buds (ie ones with rubber bungs that effectively earplugs) rather than active noise cancelling.

The Senheisser CX series aren't bad.

I've always been very pleased with headphones purchased from 7dayshop for non "hifi" use.

Cheap enough to try ...

Assuming that having wired ones is ok I would recommend some SoundMagic E10s, they are the ear bud type but have very good sound (for the price point) and do a great job at reducing external sounds. Better in many ways than my Bose noise cancelling ones.

Quite happy with these.

Bought for plugging into my amp to avoid annoying the family, but comes with large and small jacks and works fine straight off my guitar/vocal effects processor too.

I've been using a pair of Taotronic earphones for a long time now. They cost pennies and I wasn't expecting much, or for them to last, but they have been superb.

£6.50 - the most comfortable ear buds I have worn (and I don't usually like ear buds) and properly isolate any background sound (used to use them on the commute on the train - ah, those were the days) - www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00CBU0IV8/

RE ear buds - what if you want to show someone else the footage? Maybe it's just me, but while I might be willing to listen to someone else's headphones, there's no way in hell I'm sticking their earbuds in!

Sorry if I’m late but I bought some Jam Contour ANC buds for around £30 and they work really well. The neck ring takes a little getting used to but it’s worth it not to have wires.

I ordered a pair of these out of curiosity, and for the money, I'm pretty happy with them, The audio quality is good enough, and the build quality is reasonable.

They're not as "nice"' as XM4s, but they're less than 1/10 the price.

As something I bought to use when the school kids are noisy walking past the house at the beginning/end of the day I'm really pleased with them.

I had a pair of the wired version of these, and would give the same opinion - to me, they were 75-80% of the Bose QC25, at 10% of the price.

I used them on quite a few longhaul flights and they were more than acceptable as long as you used the noise cancellation. They were pretty medicore sounding with that switched off.

And another, make sure it isn't the E11s, as though they are a slight improvement sound wise (not that there's much wrong with the E10) the cable is awful tangles so easily and mine has never straightened since coming out of the box. I don't know why they changed it.

This. Do you also want a mic for Teams/Skype calls?

Work gave me a 'on-ear' Jabra headset, the USB desk puck is nice but not required.
The headphones and mic give a nice sound, but fall off my head all the time.
