Recommendations for external camera to plug into lap top

The camera on my laptop doesn't work anymore.

Can someone kindly recommend a reasonably priced external camera which I can buy and plug into the usb port of my laptop, for purposes of (say) zoom meetings?

I use a Logitech c920 - should be about the £80 mark and were the gold standard for quite a while.

The Logitech Brio Is nice but much pricier and if you go much cheaper, it is a bit of a lottery with the Chinese cameras (some of which will be ok but it’s very hard to tell from the specs which ones)

For Zoom meetings a basic webcam would probably be ok unless you are doing some sort of sales pitch and need everything to look great. Argos sell one made by Logitech and one by Microsoft both at £24.99. I'm sure either would be fine. Look for "webcam"

No one needs their mug shown on screen in full HD anyway I turn mine off for meetings if I can get away with it.
