I use a Dell keyboard and mouse supplied by my employer. Uses a single usb plug for both.
They are really good. Not sure on the cost though.

I only came onto the site today to ask suggestions for a new mouse and keyboard!

Would like to know what people recommend as well between 20-50GBP

I've been using the predecessor (K260) of that keyboard for years and its nice. Mouse not so great but certainly adequate for office tasks if not so much for gaming (i use a gaming mouse now).

Another vote for the cheapo Logitech.
Not sure if mine is the one linked to as I don't have the keyboard with me, but the mouse looks the same and I used it to set sub 60 sec times on expert level minesweeper so it must be pretty good. Was about £17 from PC World, albeit a couple of years ago.
