Anyone gaving trouble with Skype today?

My elderly neighbour up the road(91 years old)is having a problem with her Amazon fire hd i bought her to contact her relatives in Australia.
It has worked flawlessly the last few months,video calls exclusively.But today she emailed me saying she is making the call but the recipient sees the call come in,then it immediately ends??
I tested Skype on my fire tablet to her one and same thing,when i try to video call her i hear the ringtone but there's no answer as it shuts off quickly at her end before she can answer it?
Does Skype just go down sometimes??Messaging within Skype worked incidentally,anyone any ideas?Thanks..

Sounds like it might be an issue with the tablet or her internet. Did you try rebooting the tablet and her router?

We rebooted her router and i updated both our Skype apps but didn't make a difference.Never rebooted our tablets though.

We've ruled out a couple of things,her Skype app in Australia is fine,she checked it with a friends.I've also ruled out my hd fire which is fine,i skyped the old ladies laptop and that was fine.
I think she may have accidentally pressed something on her tablet that is cutting off people video calling it,any suggestions??I can't find anything obvious.
