I think anyone reading this will be confused as well.

Go to Play store and search for apps you want to download?

Sorry. I thought it was fairly simple about how I transfer apps from one phone to another. Same type of phone plus same Sim.

Most importantly my Healh Era one. An online prescription ordering service sent to me by the NHS. That I doubt will be in the Samsung Store.

Getting there anyway. Outlook back and sure I can get them to resend my thing from the NHS.

Go to the Play Store, click the hamburger menu at the top left and select "My apps and games". There should be a library tab where you can see all the apps you've installed via the Play Store. Just hit the install button next to the ones you want back and it will install them. Much easier than searching manually.

If it's from Samsung to Samsung, why don't you use SmartSwitch? Transfers everything over at the literal touch of a button.

Make sure you tell google to back up your account. Then whenever you login in on a new phone all your apps get transferred across automatically, as well as things like contacts etc.
Dont you have a friend who knows phones? It really doesnt need to be a big operation each time you get a phone.

Thanks for that. I have a new phone but my repeat prescription has already been ordered on my old one that is passed it's best.

Transferring stuff from one phone to another is new to me, as my last one was lost.
