Cheap Refurbished Laptop or Chromebook

[Longtime Lurker]

Looking for a (very) cheap laptop I was thinking something refurbished for some basics tasks such as web browsing / word & excel etc would rather not spend more than £300, replacing a desktop PC but would prefer a laptop due to moving between home and being at the office the lighter the better! Just to be clear this wont be my actual work laptop just my own computer I take to work to use at lunchtime or breaks.

Should I be looking at a Chromebook instead?

For your usage a Chromebook will be fine, can either use Google Docs or Office 365.

My ThinkPad T500 came from there in 2012, and I still use it as my daily today. So I would 100% recommend these people.

Thinkpads are a good choice as they often have a decent amount of the business warranty left at that kinda price.
