Early VM Tivo pixellating badly.

Have tried a box reset and no better.

Tried to an online scan but thats failed a number of times...

Any ideas ? Really dont want to lose half my life trying to talk to them on the phone....

No expert, have you tried re-tightening up the cable into the box? Mine was loose even though I know I tightened it up previously, finger tight admittedly but still odd.

Another time the green ntl/Virgin box outside the neighbours down the road had a side swipe by a car I guess and the door had opened, caused a few issues when the rain got in.

Another day I noticed the grey box outside my front window where the cable comes into my house had been opened and you guessed raining again.

Before you all start thinking I might have qhost or someting, this is over 20 years : )

Have you tried the Virgin forum or emailing them? I think theres a chat online option now aswell.
