Wifi Light Switch UK back box
Discussion
What do you mean by bridge? The Quinetic switches & receivers can do Wi-Fi control but you need to install the receiver in the circuit to the light:

Most require a bridge (or hub) to be connected to your router to receive an relay the signal (quite often a RF receiver / transmitter @ 433hz)
I see Energenie do one (screwfix) with mixed reviews).

This Quinetic device has the control receiver in the light switch but unfortunately it's not W-Fi controllable - although they do say it's in development.

Above is an example that will fit in a UK back box. No hub required and will connect directly to an app or Alexa/Google Home.
Do a search on Amazon, there are loads and they are all very similar in terms of functionality and design (including dimmers). Most if not all will require a neutral wire.
