Dead Original Kindle, what next ?

[Turn7]

MrsT7 has an original kindle that appears to have died.....

Loads of different versions now, what model would be best for her ?

If, as it would appear, they are all touch screen, does that allow page turning as easy as the old style button click ?

You just tap the screen, right hand side for page forward, left for back.
Current paperwhite is back lit for reading in the dark and waterproof for reading in the bath, sadly my old non illuminated one refuses to die to warrant replacement
