My parking is underground, below the house, and although I could in theory still wash the cars there, it's a bit of a pain, involving carrying buckets of water through other rooms, or running a hose through them, which I'd rather not do. It's also going to make a bit of a mess if I try to use a pressure washer in there.

Better for me is if I can use the street level area, where there's both enough space, and a hose available. While I could run a long extension lead, it seem,s like a portable, battery powered unit could be a good idea.

I'd want to do the "snow foam" thing, then rinse and sponge, and then probably attache a filter to get low mineral. content water for a rinse.

Are the portable units OK for all of this, or are they all a bit weedy, and is there any consensus on which one to go for?

I picked up the Aldi one a couple of months back, it's still available:

For it's size/cost it's actually pretty good and I'd certainly buy it again.

With the finest jet it is more than capable of blasting ground in muck off paving etc, BUT it is a very fine jet.

The fitting is common with the Worx one, so their accessories will fit .... note there is not a proper snow foam lance available in this fitting. It does come with a foam/soap dispenser although I can't speak for it's effectiveness as I haven't tried it.

Whilst you can't buy an extra battery, I bought their cordless fan (which is excellent BTW), and that comes with two batteries ... which fit the pressure washer.

Note .. the battery for the washer (and fan) is NOT their Activ 20v/40v Battery which they do sell separately.
