Phone signal affecting dab reception

There's a particular part of town where mobile reception is notoriously weak.I was waiting for a shop to open this morning in this area,sat in my car with the radio on.Pulled my phone out,no data signal,waited maybe 10 seconds,got data, webpage loaded and as it did so the radio went off.
Turned phone screen off and the radio came back on.That's some serious interference.
