I bought a used iPhone X. It was fine until I installed IOS 14.
It has started doing things on its own accord. I can be in Facebook when it switches in screens within Facebook. If I close the page it then opens other apps on its own, flitting between photos or notes or opens messages, whatever takes its fancy. They stay open for about a 1/2 sec then close and another opens. Sometimes all the apps wiggle with the minus above them like they are about to be deleted but then that closes and another opens.
If I try to swipe up then it actions but the problems seizes back control, opening something else!
After a few minutes of this it calms down then appears ok.
If I take this to Apple, will they be interested to look at it? I’ve no idea of it’s history so unaware if aftermarket parts have been fitted but if it’s a software glitch then surely they’ll want to know?
I have turned the phone off and back on but the problem is still there.
I have taken a video with my iPad, the phone looks possessed as if someone else is doing things to it.
any help appreciated, thanks.

Dicky digitiser?

I think you can change a setting (assistive touch?) to view what the screen is recording as a touch, I bet you have a lot that you're not making!

Hmmm, I did change some settings in Touch or somewhere after it wasn't opening with a tap on the screen. I'll see if I can find ut what I did.
