Video software add on for Teams
Discussion
Is there an easy way (app etc?) to record a loop of my camera footage and then play it back indefinitely into a Teams call or similar. Say, for example, in case I needed to step out midway to make a coffee ?
If you can change the backgrounds surely the technology exists for something so straightforward ?
Just asking 'theoretically' for a 'friend' etc etc..

haha, great idea, until someone asks you a question whilst you're on the can and your loop just keeps on looping. If you can change the backgrounds surely the technology exists for something so straightforward ?

try OBS - https://obsproject.com/ Ive messed round with it for a possible project for my wife at work so its quite easy to get the hang of.
Setup your normal webcam as an input/scene iirc, Ive googled "OBS loop video" and thats possible too. OBS then display the scene you want as a "webcam" and you pick that new "webcam" in teams. You can flick between the 2 sources at your leisure! Can we quite resource hungry on the PC.
Let me know how your friend gets on!
