Is there a KVM which will allow me to have two laptops sharing one monitor, one mouse, one keyboard AND one webcam?

I'm not a multi-screen guy, so the laptops will all be closed, and I'll just be using one monitor, hence the reason for needing an external webcam.

Do they all do it, do I need to look for a specific product or is there another solution?

TIA.

I've got an Aimos KVM switch from Amazon, that in the product description states it doesn't support a webcam, but then in the Q&A says

"Thanks for your question, we have improved the compatibility of webcam, and now it can works well with webcam, hd webcams and all webcams are ok! We will update the description later! Thanks!"

so I'd be tempted to order one and accept you might have to return it.

I have a USB docking station plugged into a simple 2 way switch. All my devices are plugged into the docking station, and the switch enable me to toggle between work and home PCs.

The docking station is one of these:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Targus-ACP71EUZ-USB-3-0...

And the switch is:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01AJP7FLC/ref...

It all works faultlessly.

Although you might need to use 2 screens rather than one you can use this for free from Microsoft without the need for KVM

I already use that for two laptops (and it's really flaky), but I may need to add a third, and at that point, and external monitor makes sense.

I haven't tried it for years but had no issue with it in the past, good to have options though

My dell monitor has a built in KVM switch. I've got my mouse, keyboard and webcam plugged in to it and switch between machines as needed. Works fine.
