Samsung TV issue

Hello guys

Sorry to be a pain but does anybody know what may be causing the issue with my TV?

As you can see, it's randomly cycling through menus and the little indicator light is going mad, I thought maybe the remote has had it but the issue persists when the remote is removed from the equation.

Not sure what to do really but hoped there might be something obvious I'm missing that could help? Less than ideal time to have to buy a new TV.

Issue came out of nowhere whilst the kids were watching something on YouTube.

in the video you can see the led in the IR receiver flashing like mad.

Can you cover this up with your hand and does it then stop doing it, if so, it looks like IR interference or a dodgy remote control to me.

Our samsung came with 2 remotes. you haven't got one of them sat somewhere with one of the buttons being leaned on? or has someone spilled something on the remote control?

If you have the new fangled BT smart remote, you can do a sw reboot from the remote by holding the power button on the remote down for 10 seconds or so to switch it off and the samsung logo should appear on screen when it restarts.

Thanks for the help guys, I've left it unplugged, changed the power source and grabbed the other remote and it appears to have fixed itself.

Very odd!
