Looking at one of these for my son, anyone know the difference between the GT12-045na and the GT12-048na?
045na has been reduced to £899 and the 048na is now £50 more but I’m struggling to spot the difference.
Advice appreciated.

The only difference I can see is the CPU. The 045 has an i5 10400 and the 048 has an i5 10400F.

They are the same chip but the F model CPU doesn't have integrated graphics. Which doesn't matter anyway as both of those systems come with RTX 2060 Graphics card.

From looking on the HP website, the 48na also has a slightly different case with a glass side panel.

Thanks both, you have a keener eye than me - I didn’t spot the ‘F’ against the i5 processor.

As regards the case, the HP info on line does show an image of a solid case but I understand the ‘L’ in 25L defines a glass side. It’s all a bit confusing.

Assuming it’s just the processor, would the 10500F be worth a £50 premium over the 10500? I have noted it has superseded the 10500 but all these components get superseded quickly in computing right?

The 10400F is actually the cheaper cpu, I think you're just paying for a fancy case, images are here:
