Cheaper option than a new iPad?

Anything sub £200 ish worth looking at,Huawei media pad, Fire hd etc, would prefer a larger screen, 10" plus?
Might be a good time to buy one tomorrow.

Depends what you want to do on it. The Fire's are cheap but a lot more limited than an android/apple tablet. My Mrs got one for watching TV/Films on planes, which it's great at, and now uses it for reading books as it's backlight unlike her old first generation kindle. However she bought an android tablet (Asus I think) which she now uses a lot more. Lots of apps you can get on android/apple aren't on the amazon store for the Fires.

As Rizzo says, Fire's are good - but limited in terms of what they can easily do. Running WhatsApp, for example, is tricky to do on a Fire, easy to do on an Android.
