Music via Nest Mini

I have 2 google nest minis.

I cant for the life of me figure out how to play music from my phone to the speakers?

I dont have spotify or youtube premium. Is it really a case of you have to pay to get this service?

If you google search it tells you to use the "share screen and audio" but I cant see this option.

If you go onto Google home can you not just cast audio to the selected speaker?

Finally found it. Every instructions I have seen they say you just press the cast logo on music or whatever. But on mine for some reason you dont have this?

So I had to go into the device then into volume setting then at the very bottom was cast audio to speaker?

The Cast Logo doesn't appear if there's nothing on your network to cast too. Perhaps there's some settings that is stopping the phone looking for devices int he background?
