GSM/Mobile data card device with ethernet conn?

Hi All,
We install EV chargers and some have wi-fi and/or ethernet connections to management software. However, often, especially with commercial installations with multiple linked chargers, the offices are long way from the building. What could solve our issue is some kind of data card/GSM type device with an ethernet connection.
This would plug into the intelligent hub that controls the chargers or the charger directly and means as long as there is a mobile phone signal all comms could go through this.
Am I over simplifying this? Or am I spot on?
We can use wi-fi boosters but there are limits to their capabilities unless you start spending large-ish amounts.
