New laptop for high school

[anonymous-user]

Daughter will be starting high school in the summer. Current HP notebook has been ok for the last year or two but will be getting her a new laptop this Christmas.
What's the PH collective thoughts on a good buy? The cheaper end of the market don't seem to have Windows 10 on them. That seems to be an option to add as part of a bundle package.

Find out if the school use Office or Google - if they use Google then a Chromebook could be a good idea

Good shout on that. This year's open day and parents day hasn't happened so not had chance to check in person.

Think yourself lucky. New M1 MacBook Air winding its way to my 12 year old. He doesn’t do Windows.
