How to download offline copy of internet forum

[Corvid-2020]

Hi,

For research purposes on a job, we'd like to download a copy of a number of sections / threads of an internet forum. About 4 sections, each with 50 - 100 threads, each thread with 1 - 30 pages.

Any way one can do this easily? Can save each page of each thread manually but it gets a bit boring after the while and would like to automated / do quicker.

Forum doesn't obviously state which product it was built in but is a 2005 - 2007 built so defog older software.

And no, it isn't this forum or any PH or car ones!

Google "forum scraper".
Older forum could well use phpbb, so this could help you: https://github.com/Dascienz/phpBB-forum-scraper

Yes, it really depends on the forum software. OP, does the forum not allow a backup to be created and downloaded?

If you are not the owners of the website(s), then check their t's & c's carefully...
