I've got an old EyeFinity card which will do 6 screens in 1080p. The world has moved on and I'd like to be able to run 4K monitors instead, I only really need 4 of them.

I started having a look for options and one things that hasn't moved on is that no one seems to let you search based on what you want to plug in. I don't care who makes it, what chipset it uses etc, just how many 4k monitors can I plug in and how much does it cost.

This isn't for gaming, just running several screens for normal officy stuff and the occasional 3D design. Any tips for second hand cards to search for or relatively inexpensive new options?

The Nvidia site has a selector of sorts:
https://www.nvidia.com/en-gb/design-visualization/...
https://nv.quadro-selector.com/documents/quadro-sa...

The P620 & P1000 will do 4x 4K screens & are availble on ebay.

I ran a P2000 with an 8K screen which is essentially 4x4K and it was acceptable for what you mention although usually on the limits of its memory. I would consider this a starting point - try and get something with more RAM. Four full size DP ports on the card is also handy.

It might be cost effective to buy a pair of cheaper cards which can drive two screen each, although when I was running the equivalent of 6 x 4K screens off a pair of RTX5000 I found I got better results running them all off a single card.
