I am getting choppy audio results when ripping from iTunes to CD... in Lossless and WAV. The resultant files sound hesitant/glitchy when played back.

Any thoughts?

Is it an Apple device? If not, is it worth trying Windows Media Player to see if it's a software issue?

It’s been years since I used it but exact audio copy (EAC) is the way to rip CDs.

And don't rule out the quality of the CD. I remember having issues with music on cheap unbranded CD-Rs (appear 'see through' when held up to a light). Some of my devices had problems reading them.
