I had a problem recently where I couldn't open Thunderbird.
I simply downloaded Thunderbird again and reinstalled over the top.
Kept all my settings and all was well.

Ive been using it for years, but I think its almost had its day....
I started using it when Outlook express was getting ripped apart by virus type stuff.
We are (hopefully) moving soon, and then I will move to web based email.
That was exactly why I started using it, but I may have to look at an alternative I think. I started using it when Outlook express was getting ripped apart by virus type stuff.

I use it because I have accumulated several different addresses over the years and it handles them all in one place. Occasionally I have had to close it and re-open it to make it download the latest messages, but I rarely shut down my computer but leave it in standby overnight so that may be the cause.

Gmail allows you to have multiple accounts come into one Inbox and for you to reply from the account which received the email.Gassing Station | Computers, Gadgets & Stuff | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
