I vaguely know my way around my Mac's but am unsure about email 'rules'.

I get a huge amount of spam - Bitcoin and investment type things. Whilst they all go into Junk, it would be quite nice if they were immediately deleted... in other words didn't even touch the sides! I have blocked maybe a hundred culprits, but they still appear (with a no-entry sign) in my Junk mail.

Can a rule be created that sends blocked mail directly to the trash? If so, how do you do that?

Hardly a massive problem to clear junk, but it is irritating to get so many every day.

Mail->Preferences has options for managing junk mail as well as defining rules.

It allows you to define custom actions on arrival of junk mail. smile

It is a little annoying that you cannot set up a server side block for certain keywords, sadly you have to resort to a system of local rules. I cannot remember how mine is setup but it catches most stuff.
