Is there a way to take a usb C lead from 240 mains?

I.e. cable straight in to a connector block with a transformer and usbc on the end

Is your question "is there a device that does USB over mains like a network Powerline device"? If it isn't then can you expand on the gibberish.

tongue outopcorn:

Are you asking if you can get all 240v (220) to your device through a USB-C without any adapter?

If so the answer is no, for very obvious reasons

I want a small transformer and usbc on the end. Ideally to hide in a single backbox

It's for a wall mounted tablet. Trying to hide cables

Like this?

I have all the sockets in my house with USB sockets and I am glad I did. Never have to find a charger for devices.

Nice Hue switches.

Here is what you're after:

You may want to ask someone like Jigsaw24 as they do a number of meeting room solutions using ipads.

Something like this? No idea where you could actually purchase or what sort of containment would be required to make it safe (and airflow requirements to stop it turning into a small fireball)

It’s only to keep a tablet charged, not a laptop.

I get that but finding any device like this was hard. Finding a specific/lower wattage one seems impossible

A USB-C socket and a socket-shelf?

I'll ignore the fact your probably suggesting hooking this up to a lighting circuit...

EDIT - If you want single gang, you can probably just get a USB-C euro-plate/grid module.

I'm not sure you'll have Live, Neutral and Earth behind there? You'll need all three.
