Logitech MX Master, can't live without the infinite scroll now so bought another for work

Price varies but I paid around £30 for it on Amazon around a year ago.
Edit: Paid £35 for it on Amazon so worth setting an alert as it's currently a lot more.

It's over your budget, but after a fair amount of research I ended up buying a Razer Naga Trinity around black friday, unfortunately before they knocked £20 off. As far as the brand goes I'm happy with it so far, it has customisable lighting, which I'm not bothered about at all, but would suit your remit. The reason for me replying is mainly for feedback on the mouse wheel, which has a nice notched feel between step increments so that there's a bit of distance which helps avoid the involuntary wheel motion if brushing it lightly. So far it's been good, although I've only so far used the one simple button configuration. As a brand though I'm happy with it having used logitech, cheap unknown Chinese brands and more recently an alienware one. Have a look at the rest of their range and see if there's one that suits your budget.
Another vote for the MX master.
I actually bought one, liked it so much that I've bought another one for when it eventually packs up fearing that it won't be available in the future.
Mine gets 8-9hrs use every working day and has been for about 18months.
Battery lasts ages, super comfy, feels quality too.

You can turn that on or off with the little button on the top; either free spinning or ratchet mode (if that's the correct term).
Thanks. that was not mentioned in the review i just watched.https://www.logitech.com/en-gb/products/mice/mx-ma...

This is the thing, it's the little button above the wheel called the "mode shift button":

Do i need the mark 2 , or is any version going to be OK?https://www.logitech.com/en-gb/products/mice/mx-ma...

These MX masters are way beyond the £30 budget...but i guess i do use a mouse more than i use anything else in my life...
Thanks all, I will consider one!
Amazon periodically discount them for events such as Prime Day and Black Friday. That's when I picked mine up. I couldn't being myself to pay full price. Thanks all, I will consider one!

I have an MX Master from work, but prefer the MX500 series.
These got to quite silly prices used in eBay, however Logitech has just relaunched the MX518 with new optics and it is every bit as good as the original and more.
Less 'functions' the the MX Master, but personal I find it a much better shape, weight, and the fwd/back buttons fall under the thumb much better. The scroll wheel grips well for me.
