Spreadsheet help - poker tournament
Discussion
hi all
Since lockdown hit, my uni mates and I have a replaced meet up's with a regular (6 players) poker tournament using tabletop simulator on steam. For my sins, i collect all the money and distribute, and i keep a log of who has bought in and how many times. We started playing weekly, at £2 buy-in's, then switched to fortnightly but £5 buy in's.
I now have a 14 tab spreadsheet recording who bought in each week, how many times, then a record of who won and who was second, and how much they won. Then there's a totals tab tracking everyone's up/down and because we are split into 2 groups of 3 (for our profesisons) we have an A vs B total to track which group of us is winning.
I'm ok with a spreadsheet, but this one has got unweildy and hard to work with. Has anyone seen one that would do this in a neater way? I need to be able to enter on the fly, an indivuduals buy in, they may buy in one or many times in a game, multiply this by the buy-in rate (was £2, now £5) and then keep running totals.
Usual google has found nothing but semi-pro players tracking their online gambling activity. Which is not what i want
Any help massively appreciated
