Weather station with colour screen?
Discussion
I'm looking for a decent weather station. No need for the full raingauge etc., just a radio controlled clock with day/date, barometer and inside/outside temperature. Backlit colour screen, and a fairly large display.
I bought what seemed like the ideal unit from Lidl a couple of years ago, but it didn't last long. Same problem with a couple of radio controlled clocks from Lidl - they just don't last for very long. radio reception is rubbish too, as they only seem to pick up signals from Germany? On the other hand, an Oregon Scientific unit that I bought about 20 years ago is still working fine. No radio control though, and I need an accurate clock in every room for testing/regulating the mechanical clocks that I repair.
Argos and Currys don't list many, and most of what's available online is either German (and very expensive), or has a name that I've never heard of.
Any recommendations?
Budget up to £90.
Failing that, is there any way of converting an Android tablet to do the job, preferably realtime local data, rather than from an online weather site? I've got a spare Samsung Galaxy Pro with a dodgy battery.

Try Skyview systems.

I've bought both my Davies weather stations from them and they do lots of cheaper ones.
Good backup if needed and they've been going a long time so I don't think they sell cheap and nasty.

I would like a colour screen purely because it looks nicer, and if properly designed, it's easier to see the data that I'm actually looking for without finding my reading glasses to figure out the tiny monochrome icons.
I thought I'd try using my old Samsung tablet. Found a free weather station app that does a decent job using data from a weather service. It even allows me to see air pressure in inches of mercury rather than millibars, which is very useful for calibrating old English mercury barometers without resorting to a conversion app.
There is a problem though - the tablet seems to be totally incapable of setting/correcting the time automatically! There is no option in "settings" to enable this, has to be set manually.

Slightly above your budget but we have one of these and it seems pretty good BRESSER 5-in-1 Weather Station Weather Center Comfort with Colour Display and multi outdoor sensor https://smile.amazon.co.uk/dp/B082HL7S6V/ref=cm_sw...
I have this one:

Looks better than the black plastic ones. Other retailers probably available.
I can't get links to work, sorry!
