Navigating Facebook Groups.
Discussion
I'm new to facebook and have joined a couple of groups (local village one and a tradesman one).
Question is how can I go back in time to look at old posts? Say back to August or last April for example.
I've tried scrolling down using the bar on the right hand side, but it only seems to go a day or two and then the cursor on the bar slowly moves up a bit and I can scroll one or two more posts. It would take forever to go back a week never mind a few months....
Its easy to go back on a forum like this one - but I can't see how facebook groups work. Any help much appreciated.

My biggest irritation with FB is the seemingly random way that posts are ordered, and the difficulty involved in going backwards to find something you know you've seen somewhere, but can't remember enough to search.
For me, though, I can carry on scrolling backwards through group posts pretty much endlessly - as I get towards the bottom, it loads a bit more in. That's on a PC browser, not a phone.

Depending on how busy the groups are, finding posts that go back anything more than a week or two is practically impossible.
I'm convinced the data us still there, but the search facility is so rudimentary that it's impossible to find anything.
What I'm really trying to say - is that if you expect Facebook groups to be easily accessible like a forum, then you are wasting your time there.
