Had a new screen fitted to my phone (moto g8 power lite) and when in use sunglasses I can't see the screen unless I rotate it to horizontal!

What is going on? Cheap PoS screen?

Turn your head 90 degrees or buy some tinted sunspecs.

Yes, it will have been fitted with a non OEM screen that does not allow for polarised viewing.

I use no audio with it on the dash on the bottom of my eyeline. I can wedge it in at 45 degrees when its somewhat visable then tilt my head the other way but probably look a nutter and I'm having to process a wrongly orientated map so probably have a confused expression too.

is there a way to guarantee a genuine/quality screen? Was a high street no name store type place but they seemed a bit incompetent.
