Surface RT - paperweight?

Found an old Surface RT whilse tidying up the garage. To my surprise it's still working, albeit a bit slow.
The display is great but can't really use it for anything else, as it only supports signed ARM apps on the store.
Initially was planning to use it to stream CCTV but encountered 2 issues: 1) No ARM version of app that works 2) Sleep and wake batch commands don't work
I did some research trying to install Linux on it but apparently this is not possible too.
I am using it as a glorified photo frame at the moment.
Just wondering if anyone has a Surface RT and doing anything creative on it in 2021?
edit: Would be big bonus if anyone manage to figure out how to sleep and wake Surface RT on schedule. I'm using it as photo frame but not sure if it's meant to be on 24/7...
