HP printer problem

Good Evening

Looking for some help if possible

For absolutely no apparent reason my home printer has decided to not open the main print/scan options page, I can however still print if I choose the options from say word or excel for example, however I can no longer scan documents using the normal application driver

I uninstalled (and switched off pc) and reinstalled the official driver from the HP support site, all to no avail
All I get now when I try to open the applications is the panel below, with no option to click anything

Is it trying to load some Flash content? That died on New Year's Eve.

Suggestion is to uninstall the print software, load HPSmart, and let that discover the printer.

I've had exactly the same issue. It is down to Flash no longer being supported so you need to download other scanning software.

The printer driver should still work.

yep tried that, now says it cant find printer
