Sky Go PC App - Glitchy

Got my gaming/media PC connected to my TV to run as a main monitor.
Everything works smoothly at a decent frame rate, except for the Sky Go app.
It seems to either be glitchy or have a low FPS, the actual quality of the image is good, it's just not smooth. When logged in on laptops it seems okay.
Ive had a look online but not been able to see any advice.
Anyone got any tips on making it run smoother? Apart from getting my own Sky box to get it properly
