Amazon deliveries to my house but with another name

Had 2 of these now. My address and postcode but a name I don't recognise.

First time I contacted Amazon without opening and they told me to either dispose of it or keep it. Seemed weird as it could have been valuable. Unfortunately it wasn't. It was a small box of Ecover washing powder which retails for just over £3 on their site.

Second time was yesterday. Same name so I just opened it. This time it was a cushion pad - the bit that goes inside the cover. Cost would be a similar low value.

So what's going on?

Can't be one of these scams to get fake ratings as I'm sure Ecover wouldn't be up for that. My account is fine as are any cards associated.

First ime I've read of this brushing 'scam'. How weird!

Was my first though but first one was a very well known brand sold through Amazon Pantry/Fresh. So neither product or seller would be looking for reviews.

The second one might be more prone to this.

I received a key signal blocker, two Cadbury Twirls (in separate deliveries) and an infuser that looked like someone pissed in a jar a couple of months back.

I rang Amazon and they said they would 'investigate'. Seems to work as I haven't had anything since. Bit of a shame really as I'm partial to the odd Twirl

Just had a 3rd parcel. This time it was a box of plastic mouths shields. Something I never knew existed! I have though tracked it down to only one Amazon listing for this particular brand so I may amuse myself this afternoon by writing a review. Currently there is only 1 review for it with surprise surprise 5 stars!

Still waiting for my box of Twirls though. Maybe next week?

Amazon have now 'escalated' it. Let's see what happens
