Anyone got one, interested if there is much difference between the Bose Solo 5 which was recently discontinued but still sold and the new Series 2.

My TV sound isn't terrible it just sounds a bit flat, it's a Toshiba 4K about 2-3 years old. Bose speaker/soundbar for less than £200 is it too good to be true or should I spend a bit more and get one the 300 series.

It’s called the TV speaker here in Oz, I picked up one a few weeks ago following a recent apartment move. It sounds like a typical Bose product, good enough for a small room and much better than TV sound. The Solo 5 didn’t have a dedicated tweeter whereas this one does, so it’s a decent improvement. Just don’t go expecting anything earth-shattering in terms of bass.

I like the fact it turns on/off with the TV and the volume can be controlled by the TV remote.

Sounds just what im looking for, I've a cheap Hitachi soundbar which is ok but looking for something with a bit more quality rather than just a louder version of my tv speakers.

Not expecting Meridian levels of sound quality and the TV room is only about 5m x 5m
