New monitor recommendations?

Hi all, as many people have during lockdown, I've upgraded my PC for occasional gaming and now looking to change my low spec Acer 27" 1080p VA monitor for something better.

My budget is around £300, 27"+, ideally curved at least 1440p and if possible IPS. Any recommendations or deals about?

Also what's the consensus on superwides for daily office stuff and also gaming, I presume more and more games will support them, any fans/converts/detractors? This seems really reasonable even if not IPS: https://www.laptopsdirect.co.uk/electriq-35-wqhd-1...

Update: So I went ahead and bought the Electriq 35" Ultrawide I linked above. Not been gaming on it yet but mounted it and I'm very pleased and impressed with it. Highly recommended.
