Afternoon all,

I may need some type of web access for a few weeks to bridge a gap, usage would be browsing/wfh/zoom.

I could tether to a mobile, with associated costs which would mount up over that timeframe.

Is anyone aware of another option? Maybe a short term sim deal for a month for this reason, or something else?

Just checking all avenues before I swallow the usage cost.

Cheers,

Lebara (Vodafone) are doing a 30 day rolling contact unlimited data sim with 1st 3 months half price @ £14.97. Cancel anytime.

Smarty (Three) doing 100Gb for £15, again 30 day rolling.

I would go with something like a Smarty Sim.

£20.00 Capped per month = Unlimited UK calls & texts + Unlimited 4G & 3G Data (Tether without worrying, You can tether and hot-spot all of your data with no speed caps as long as you’re in the UK)

My good lady just bought a mobile hotspot for her business for when she is at her venues (and then we got locked down again)

Think it was £50 and covers 3 devices (she has 2 tablets and a PDQ machine) and came with 15Gb data included

FYI - one of these but on PAYG https://www.vodafone.co.uk/mobile-broadband/pay-mo...

Are you in the middle of no-where or do you have a friendly neighbour you can piggy-back onto?

Are you signed up to BT WiFi?

There's a good possibility there's a hotspot near to you.
