Helium HNT Network - the future or buzzword bingo?
Discussion
I got an email the other day from piSupply who are now selling devices that seem to be part crypto miner and part hotspot of some new longfi LoRaWAN wireless protocol which is designed as a low power, low data but long range signal for IoT type things.
Does anyone know any more about this system? It would cost me £300 for the hotspot to go in my loft and I think I would get paid for people connecting to it, but the website seems like a buzzword bingo (Crypto! Blockchain! Internet of Things! People's __!) so I'm a bit worried it's just a scam to increase the value of these HNT things.
