iBook sync problems between devices?

Anyone able to help please with iBook sync issues?
I have an iPhone 12 and recently purchased a new MacBook.
I have iBooks on my iPhone with a few Audiobooks in, but I can't get these to appear in iBook on my MacBook.
As far as I can tell, all the settings are correct on both devices, but there is probably a box I haven't ticked somewhere?
Any suggestions please?
