Best/Simplist PHP shopping cart

[thunderstruck]

Hi

Looking to set up a site that has an eCommerce aspect to it. Anyone recommend a good PHP shopping cart/checkout solution that is easy to set up, free, and lets you use your own templates (page designs)?

Many thanks

I recommend oscommerce.

I've created three sites with it over the last three years and for range of features and performance it wins hands down.

Regards,

Ramesh

Try to get a search engine friendly shopping cart, it will save you a lot of pain (pain I'm currently experiencing) when you realise you need to switch over to get regular traffic.

I don't know of a SEO friendly PHP shopping cart myself, but I'm sure one is available. The cart will use something like Mod_rewrite to create
/php/bigwidget.html files
rather than something like
/php/catalog.php?type=12&title=425

Hope someone has more experience of this than me.
