What Happened To My Facebook Account

I’m a member of several Facebook groups. In mid December one of my football groups disappeared, it looked like I’d been blocked/booted. Oh well never mind.

Then a few days later I noticed that I was prevented from posting or responding to anything on another group (history of London). I enquired of their admin and was told that I must have done something wrong which would have come from Facebook. I spent some time going back over my posts to make sure I hadn’t broken any of the group or Facebook rules. I hadn’t broken any rules or received any notification from Facebook. A thread appeared on that group started by another member who’d had the same problem. I posted that I’d had the same (my posting suspension had expired by then). The result was that I was booted from that group.

It’s not the end of my world but a bit frustrating. Does anyone here understand the workings of Facebook?

Something similar happened to me yesterday. It was back to okay today. It looks like FB st itself at random, for reasons unknown.

The only blemish I ever had with Facebook was when I made a comment about a news article on pavement parking. I got notified that my comment had been taken down as spam. I challenged the decision and my comment re appeared, that’s noted in ‘my violations’.

If I did I wasn’t notified and can’t find it.

Some one I know on FB itself also had the same problem as his football team shared a name with a US based neo-right wing group and so was banned by name association - think that one also made the UK press.
