Twitter iOS app - what is that bar at the top?

A whole “row” in my Twitter iOS app is wasted with a row with just 2 icons. One is a plus button by my image, the other on is from a band I follow. I can’t see what this bar is, how to add/remove/hide it? I don’t actually know what this row/bar is actually for?

Googling is no use at all.

Weirdly, I don’t see the same on iPad or browser, where space is less of a premium, yet on the iPhone they waste space with this crap.

“Fleets”, is it meant to be a load of lorries or something?

It's their equivalent to IG stories; as mentioned above it hasn't been a success for them and it'll likely disappear soon.

FWIW my sister has Twitter on her ipad and they show up on that as well; not sure why they aren't showing on yours - must be lucky.
