Whatsapp Group not seeing my messages

As per title, I recently had to swap to a temp phone due to my main one needing repair.

When I swapped back again (new phone) I set up whatsapp....but groups I am in are not seeing my messages. They just don't appear in the group..

Private 1:1 chats work fine. s. Checked via wifes phone.

Has anyone ever heard or seen this happen before?

Did you do the old phone > create backup > new phone > restore backup process?

Full uninstall, restarted, reinstall and back to working! A very odd week when no one was replying to my messages though!!

Maybe some back-end account reconciliation process that didn’t work properly? Who knows, computers innit.
