Google Home Devices replying 'I understood...'
Discussion
I have various Google Home Devices around the house, including some smart plugs. The TP Link Kasa devices are linked to the home system and I can specify the name and on or off by voice which works fine. The hive heating can also be controlled in the same manner.
I also have some other TP Link tapo smart plugs, but when I ask to turn on of those devices Google always replies with 'I understood then on the *** light, is that correct?' to which you then have to reply yes. A small issue but a frustrating one! Has anyone any ideas to fix the issue?
Thanks

Having just bought some Tapo lights, I started getting the same problem with Google Home. I think I've sorted it though, and it was down to the name of the light.
My eldest is called Charley, but when you name the bulb Charley Light, Google would always say "I understood...". However when I renamed the light to Charlie Light, it works perfectly.
I thought it was weird, as another bulb is called Alex light, and that worked fine every time.
Check your spellings, or maybe rename it something slightly different that Google better recognises.
