Probably the wrong section - but....

I've generally been quite lucky with washing machines and their stability over the years. however, the newest one has been a constant thorn in my side. I've a feeling it's to do with the surface it's on as it's in the garage on a tiled floor and I'm not sure how level it is.

AO delivered it and got it spinning empty and said it was fine. Since then it's been wandering around to the point I'm quite nervous!

I've had it so it's rock steady then a few days later, off it goes again.

Is there a trusted method to follow???

Is it not level or is it walking? Does it rock? If so, use the adjustable feet to level it. If not, then it is your tile floor causing slip. You can buy rubber feet to stop it moving.

Spirit level along the top back edge. It is isn't level, lift one end of the spirit level until it is. Measure the gap from the spirit level to the top surface of the machine. That's how much to lift the corner under the lifted end by.

Repeat for each top edge until the top is completely level. If it still wobbles, burn it.

Might take the digital protractor home from work and do it properly.

If you haven't updated the anti virus software recently, I'd recommend doing that. I had the same issue but once the update was done, it was running as smooth as silk.

This. Mine were tight as hell to get out and had quite the length on them!

Probably needs a proper geo set-up and corner weighting....

Well worth doing. Mine was under the worktop and the screeded floor wasn't level.
So I had to slide the machine in to check the level fore and aft, and side to side. Then pull it out, adjust, and re check.

The washing up liquid is to help slide the machine in and out. The wooden block is to lift the machine with the wooden batten to allow the adjustment.
Don't forget the bolts have lock nuts. Undo the nut, adjust the actual bolt, lock up with the nut.
